On one Saturday in August, Belarus comes alive as people travel across the country to reach their heritage. Some go to admire architectural treasures, for others, natural heritage is a priority, and there are those who don't even realize how close they come to cultural treasures!

The puzzle consists of 15 situations or interactions between people and heritage. Each situation hides its own story with fictional or real characters. The situations are selected based on their popularity, value, and the environment in which the action takes place.
In August, Syarozha isn’t thinking about heritage; it’s harvest season, and he needs to gather all the grain and earn some money! Once the season ends, then they can travel. For the fall, the family has already planned a trip to the Braslau Lakes, and there are also beautiful churches in Luchaj, Vidzy, and Slabodka!
Ira finally arrived in Hrodna and immediately set off to the “must-see” spots. In the park near the Kalozha Church, squirrels are hopping around. You can't just pass by, especially when your pockets are full of nuts. The squirrels are feasting, and Ira is on her way to the Farny Cathedral next.
An August evening is a perfect time to freshen up everything stored in the chest. Audocia Mikitava hangs her rugs and blankets outside by the house. Some will say that Granny Audocia is tidying up, while others will say she's putting on an exhibition. Surprisingly, both are right!
Alena got excited about mountains and hiking, so her plan for Saturday is to conquer her first peak. The goal is Mount Dzyarzhynskaya, the highest point in Belarus. It's not Everest, but it's just the right start!
STORIES
A school bus arrived in Niasvizh with children from a summer camp. Among them is Nasta, a schoolgirl who brings back magnets from every trip. The kids are trudging towards the castle, but Nasta is already rushing to the souvenir shops. No magnet means the place wasn’t truly visited!
Roman is not visiting Pinsk for the first time, but he always enjoys taking the riverboat on the Pina. They just passed under the bridge, and in front of Roman is the Franciscan monastery, emerging from the greenery along the riverbank. "This is the landmark of Pinsk!" Roman is already looking at the monastery through his camera lens.
When the August weather is nice, famous artist Aleś heads out for plein air painting every weekend. This time, it’s to Herviaty, and he had to arrive extra early to paint without the crowds of tourists!
Mr. Babrovich is the local guide. Whoever visits Babruysk, they all go to him. Babrovich starts his Babruysk tour with wooden architecture and Jewish heritage. He says, “It’s not just people who migrate, but houses too. This one here came from the Baltics!”
Antoś had never encountered wild animals before, so he came to Bialowieza Forest to see them with his own eyes. Antos sat on a rock, and the animals surrounded him from all sides. Now, Antoś looks like he stepped right out of a meme!
Arciom arrived in Dzitva with a group of enthusiasts to ride the narrow-gauge railway. There were so many people that it felt like an Indian train, with passengers even leaning out of the carriages. And the tourists were delighted, as the carriage wasn’t just any ordinary one — it was a "dining car"!
For Viktar Piatrovich, the lanterns on Savetskaya Street are like his children—he tends to them and keeps them powered so they shine brightly. Each time he performs this ritual, a crowd gathers: some are filming videos, while others wait for the lamplighter to take a photo with him.
Zmicier tracked that the greater spotted eagle Veluta had already arrived in the Czuczewizce Forest. So, his plans for this Saturday were definitely set. After a few hours of waiting, Zmicier got lucky: the bird was there. The photo was taken — now it's time to enjoy the scenery!
Unprepared for the bogs, Mikola, Uladz, and Vola arrived in Yelnya. There's a lot of talk about how the swamp pulls you in, so Vola decided to test it out. The crane is wailing, the boys are rushing to help, but they confirmed it — the bogs really do pull you in!
Andruś rides his bike every Saturday. Crossing wooden suspension bridges feels a bit daunting, but in Masty, it’s just perfect! Especially since it's the longest suspension bridge in Belarus. Below flows the Neman River, and above, Andruś rides on his Bianchi!
Siarzhuk and Hanna missed the spring flood of the rivers, so they decided to wait until the Polesie region flooded after the summer rains. The boat barely keeps up as it passes mighty oak trees. Hanna happily exclaims, "Finally, I'm at sea!" while the stork is just glad to see happy people.
